Milford Central Academy

On behalf of the entire Milford Central Academy (MCA) staff, I would like to welcome you to our website!  Our students have much to celebrate as they achieved a "Superior" status on the 2011 Math and Reading Delaware Compreshensive Assessment (DCAS)!!!  This is a testament to the collective efforts of everyone involved.  I am so proud to be part of such a talented and caring staff who strive each and every day to provide their students with opportunities to become critical thinkers with a global perspective. 

The grouping of 8th and 9th grade students together provides us with a unique opportunity to address the needs of students who are at a pivital age in their educational and social development.  We are committed to providing researched, differentiated, and inquiry-based instructional strategies coupled with targeted interventions for individual student needs.  In addition, our teachers are equipped with state of the art technology in their classrooms which enable them to deliver engaging and interactive lessons.
